Applequist Manufacturing has two locations in North Central Kansas. We are proudly “made in rural America” because we see a real value in rural communities, including close-knit people, strong work ethic and close ties with those who use our products.
The Plant
Our plant is a 138,000 square foot facility in Smith Center, KS. Construction on the facility began in January 2019 and is now complete.
The plant is strategically designed to manufacture a broad range of agricultural and industrial equipment, utilizing up-to-date manufacturing technology, which optimizes productivity and quality.

The Town
With a town population of approximately 1,600 people, Smith Center is a true reflection of small town values and work ethic. Located in North Central Kansas just miles from the geographical center of the United States.

The Office
The company’s office is located in downtown Assaria. Offices for several other family endeavors are also managed from this location.

Assaria is a small town located about 8 miles south of Salina, Kansas. With a population of roughly 475, Assaria is a close-knit community where truly everybody knows your name.
